This is a clear glass vase with blue speckles around to bottom, hand engraved with a swarm of jellyfish swimming around the outside. It is fully functional as a vase as well as a purely decorative work of art. This vase would be a great treat for yourself or a perfect gift for a birthday, housewarming, wedding or anniversary, as well as a nature or ocean lover. 23cm tall x 9.5cm wide Each vase is an original work of art, uniquely engraved & all are engraved to order so each one will differ ever so slightly from these pictures. Also the vases are hand blown so all differ slightly (i.e. some have more blue thank others) Drill engraving uses a diamond bur to mark the surface of glass. The technique I use is to carve into the glass to simulate depth when viewed from the other side. Then areas are polished & highlighted in such a way to enhance the features of the engraving & create light & shadow. All packaging i.e. boxes & bubble wrap is reused/ recycled so that limited new materials are used. (Every little helps in the fight against global warming!) & therefore I do not offer gift wrapping or gift boxes. After something a little different?
