Each draw has lovely pull handles & key holes but unfortunately no keys. It was in need of some tlc & has been lovingly restored then painted using Annie Sloan chalk paint. The colour used was 'Old white', I have then distressed parts of the draws & waxed with clear & dark wax to give an aged patina. They are a lovely set of shabby chic chest of drawers. The draws inside have been painted in a grey chalk paint & then waxed with white wax for protection. A couple of the draws are a little stiff but open & close quite easily. Please remember that this is an old vintage piece of furniture, therefore it will show signs of character & slight wear & tear such as knocks, bumps, small gaps & chips, historic woodworm (which has been treated as a precaution) any obvious characteristics are specified. There is a little veneer missing on the top right of the second draw which can be seen in the photos. I like to be subtle with my restoration & not take too much away from the original character of the piece. My goal is to create something unique, to have my own style & create a statement piece for your home. All furniture is upcycled, refurbished & hand painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint & then sealed with wax for added protection & durability.
