Hello, my dear visitors! Welcome to my world of Ukrainian tea & coffee mugs. Since I came to the UK, I had never used mugs to drink from, unless they were enamel & unless I was travelling on a picnic with my family. Over the years, not only did I get used to using mugs, but I find them very effective in showing a little bit of yourself to the world. So, even if you are silently drinking tea from it, a mug will always draw people's attention to it. I have so many mugs at home, including the ones I make so I would really like to welcome you into my world. I particularly like drawing young women in their traditional attire because i myself inherited a vyshivanka from my grandma who had actually made it. The crossstitch on the vyshivanka (Ukraininan blouse) was superb. Also, I learnt how to embroider when I was around 5. I also always liked to draw. Here I present to you a Ukrainian woman who is holding an old clay pot that my Grandma gave me (I have several, by the way) & on the other side, the same girl but with a black cat.
