John Muir has offered many wonderful quotes about the outdoors, mountains & forest. This is one of my favorites. If you find the mountains to be a place that you yearn to spend time, this metal design is the perfect reminder to decorate your home or office! This piece measures approximately 14 X 11, & has been completed with a multi-step staining process. The background of the piece provides tones of bronzes, blacks & browns, & subtle blues. The trees & John Muir's name are a silver tone. The mountains & the quote have been cut out of the steel. There are holes in each of the top corners for easy hanging. The design has been completed with a clear powder coat finish. PLEASE NOTE: This staining process results in color variations throughout each piece, & the item you receive will not look identical to the photo - although it will be similar in coloration. ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS: All items in our shop are handmade & hand finished, made from lightweight durable steel (generally 14 gauge steel). Due to the nature of metal, no two pieces will be identical. Because these pieces have been finished with a metal patina stain, rather than paint, there will be variations in coloration throughout the piece or between pieces finished with the same staining process. Each one is truly a unique item. Please double check the dimensions of the item that you are ordering. If you are unsure about the size, it might be helpful to use a tape measure to verify that it is the size that you are expecting. All our items are cut out of metal, so please be aware that there may be sharp edges & points in the design. None of these items are toys for children to play with. Standard items will ship within 3-5 business days after payment is received. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the undamaged item within 30 days of purchase for a refund. You are responsible for the return shipping. CUSTOM DESIGNS: We are happy to do custom orders, based on your unique design. Please be aware that not all designs can be cut out of metal, but we will do our best to develop something that will suit your needs. Custom orders will ship within 3-4 weeks after customer approval of the design. Please be sure to proofread your custom order carefully. It is your responsibility to make sure that the information is correct. Once the draft is approved, we will not offer any returns or refunds on custom orders, unless the item is damaged in shipping.
