Now on SALE was 40 for the set now half price 20! Set of 3 of my lovely handmade ornamental ceramic pinch pot pumpkins in shades of bluey greens. Made in my shed in Devon. Largest 7cm wide x 8.50 cm tall Medium 5cm wide x 6 cm tall Smallest 4cm wide x 4.5cm tall All sizes are approximate A lovely gift for Autumn or any time of year For those interested in the process of making these... These pinch pots are all handmade from stoneware clay. A ball of clay is split into 2 balls each ball is pinched into a bowl shape, the inside of each are smoothed as much as possible trying not to distort the clay bowl shape. The 2 bowls are joined together creating a hollow sphere. The sphere is then smoothed & made into a pumpkin shape. It is left to dry to be firm enough to take decorating. Once decoration is added it is left to fully dry out which can take up to a week or so depending on weather & humidity. Once dry it is fettled , bisque fired, then glazed & a final kiln firing to fully vitrify the item, which means they are waterproof can then be used in the garden.
