Description
This rustic women's tote is made with green, full-grain leather. Its minimalist style keeps this bag very simple, with no fussy linings or pockets. At first, the tote will be rigid but it will break in over time, changing colour & softening its shape with us. This tote has been hand-cut, punched, & sewn by Loni Johnson, the one who designs & constructs each Treibholz tote. For each step of this bag's creation, she's been meticulous with every detail. Loni personally selects the leather used for every project so we're sure of its look & quality. The leather used for this piece is full-grain leather. Full-grain leather means the top grain layer of the leather is fully intact. Because of this, it may show some wrinkles or scars, making every piece truly unique. We personally love the grain of this leather, how varied & unique it is. It will age extremely well & after some use, it will develop a beautifully darkened patina. We use waxed nylon thread & a traditional saddle stitch to provide this tote with the strength to last decades.
