This vase was turned from a piece of local Cornish Sweet Chestnut grown in the Falmouth area. As it includes a glass tube it can be used to display live flowers as well as a dried flower display. Hand turned from a beautiful piece of wood it shows the inclusion & grain well. It was hand turned on a lathe & finished with wax for a durable finish enhancing the features of wood.
