The Oregon Coast is one of my favorite places to go to relax in Oregon. The water in general is too cold to swim but it is absolutely stunning with the Oregon Coast Hwy (101) running the length of it. in all of my time on the coast, however, I had never made it to the southern coast to an area called the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor because it takes about 6 hours to drive there from Portland so I went down for a couple of days to photograph & it was so beautiful. This photo was taken there on a beach called Whaleshead beach. I was practicing my long exposure photography with the waves. The woman in the photo just stood there so still to admire the waves & the ocean(ignoring me!) & I thought it captured the calming feeling & sound of the waves on a beautiful Oregon day better than any scene without her admiring it. I hope this photo can make you feel like you are there listening to the sounds of the ocean & feel the sun & the breeze.
