A desk / dressing table, designed by John & Sylvia Reid for Stag in the 1950's. Although originally designed as a dressing table it would make a perfect desk, adding style & function to the modern home. This piece dates from around the 1950-60's. An iconic British modernist Dressing Table designed by architect couple John & Sylvia Reid for Stag of Nottingham as part of the much sought after 'Cumberland' range. Boasting crisp, fuss-free lines that still feel contemporary now, this piece features two floating pedestals, with three large drawers on one side & a cupboard space on the other. The pedestals are joined by a white melamine-topped surface which houses a central drawer with lift up top (the lid having a mirror on the underneath. The oak has been refinished.
