Description
This vintage wooden jar is made from a single piece of timber - I think oak, or possibly ash wood. The lid is very snug so it was possibly designed to be a tea caddy. It has a V-F-T mark set into the base on a leather patch but I've not been able to identify the maker. This jar is in a good used condition. There is some dark staining to the inner base but it doesn't smell of anything other than wood. Please look closely at all the photos as they form part of the item description.
