This unusual pair of antique or vintage tripod brass jardinieres have got maker's marks on the base but I have not been able to identify them. They are British made & I think they're probably Victorian from the late 1800s. They have some silvering on them in the folds & textured areas so I'm wondering if they weren't fully silver plated at some point, but it would have taken a lot of polishing to get them to this stage. I love them the colour they are now as they're more organic looking, like large seed pods. Both pots are in a good usable condition with minor dinks & surface blemishes. They are in a tarnished condition but I'm sure they would polish up beautifully if you were that way inclined. Please look closely at all the photos as they form part of the item description.
