Inspired by nature, this original Botanical Impression captures the texture, patterns & delicacy of the ginkgo leaf in intricate & exquisite detail. Individually composed & handmade by us, using a process that ensures each is totally unique, no two are the same. We collect fresh material from the plants & trees of Oxfordshire - mostly from our own or neighbours' gardens. in using fresh plant material our pieces are seasonal & much like a fossil, record the beauty of the subject at a moment in time which, unlike the real thing, will never wither & die. We are always astonished at the level of detail captured by each impression, Zoom in & see for yourself. Each impression measures 120mmx120mmx15mm but as each one is handmade & finished, the measurements are not precise. The impression has a hole drilled for hanging on a wall or surface, or it can be propped. It is presented in a gift box as the photo shows, so perfect for gifts for gardeners or anyone who has an interest in the natural world.
