LARGE DOME CONCRETE PENDANT LAMPSHADES in Blue/Green ALSO AVAILABLE in GREY, PINK, CHARCOAL - Please inquire. Handmade lightweight concrete pendant lampshades. Sculpted, formed & moulded by hand, these lampshades are made using a lightweight building mortar & reinforced with glass fibre matting. A thin layer of gypsum plaster is applied to the inside to create a finely textured, off-white matte finish. Each item is individually cast so the colours will vary & may appear different to those displayed. There may be surface imperfections such as air bubbles & visible fibres, these however are not flaws or faults, they are a result of the casting process & the nature of the materials used. For safety purposes, it is essential that some kind of strain relief, such as a cord grip, is used when wiring the flex to a ceiling canopy / rose. As with all electrical work please ensure you are competent in doing this before you start & have your work tested or seek advice from a professional if unsure.
