Our Wooden Framed Signs are Handmade to order. We have a wide selection of signs to suit every part of the home, each available in a selection of colours. Over the years we have sold thousands of wood framed signs, they make wonderfully unique gifts. But we warn you, collecting our Timber & Grey Signs can be addictive! Sizes approx 10 x 30 (Plus Frame) or 5 x 15 (Plus Frame) Additional Information - Our Frames are stained in a Medium Oak Waterbased Stain. Please note that as our frames are made with pine, a natural material, there maybe variations & imperfections such as small knots etc. These are to be expected & we feel it just adds to the charm! Variations & imperfections such as this are not considered a defect & we don't accept returns on naturally occurring variations in the wood. Care Information - Our Wood Framed Signs, unless otherwise stated, are not suitable for outdoor use. Our wood stains are waterbased, the pine of the frame is a softwood & the base board of the sign is MDF. These will suffer irreparable damage if left outdoors or exposed to the elements. To Clean - just dust the sign face with a soft, dry, lint free cloth. Please be careful not to scratch the surface of the sign. FixingHanging - We no longer provide fixings for our wooden signs. Some wood frame sign makers will attach sawtooth hangers to the back of the frame, however we know from experience that this will prevent the sign sitting flush against the wall as they are designed to sit. The gap at the back of the frame is deep enough for the sign to simply be hung over some nails/screws. This is how we hang them at home. IMPORTANT - When hanging larger signs, please ensure you use TWO nails/screws to hang the frame over. These should be situated towards the outer edge of the frame so it does not create a bow in the frame. Our Frames are also 2 deep so can be freestanding.
