I am UK based, & UK orders are sent Royal Mail special next day delivery, Overseas orders are sent Royal Mail tracked. & I post frequently during the week. Brighten up your bookshelf, with this Book Nook shelf insert. made from upcycled hardback books. This Booknook diorama has led lights in it, & is made to fit on your bookshelf, but you can also use it as a bedside light, on a table in your hallway, on a shelf your desk or anywhere you can fit it! This is a new design, I have made this one bigger, with more space inside than my usual ones. A cosy chair in a sitting room, with stairs leading to upstairs with a door. There is a bookcase heaped with book, & a selection of knick knacks on the top. The hidey hole under the stairs has a suitcase ( packed with old love letters?) more books, & a Chinese lucky cat ornament. The table has a chocolate cake & hot drink. There are various pictures hanging on the walls, & a stags head. Their are two chairs to choose from. I am particularly proud of the stairs I! I made the Booknook itself, the bookcase, the chair, the stairs & door, the table, pictures on walls mounted on board, bottles, lampshades, fake suitcase & radio, & all the books myself, this has taken me countless hours to complete. in fact I have made almost everything in this myself apart from the mug , lucky cat ornament rug & the chocolate cake! There are two light shades with a cluster of lights in each, these are bright white lights so give a nice glow, they are battery operated & take 3 AA batteries. The battery pack is located at the top of the spine, meaning you don't have to move it to switch the light on & off. The book is blue, with black finishing. The background is a photo quality image, the wallpaper is images of pages from books. Approximate measurement are, almost 6 wide , 9 1/2 tall, & 7 1/4 deep including the battery pack. Hand crafted by me taking quite a few hours, & made from modern day, in great condition, upcycled hardback books, but please allow for minor blemishes on the outside of the book. Yes I treasure books, but thousands upon thousand are sent to landfill each year as they can't be recycled, so I remove the pages from these so they can be recycled. Adult collectors only.
