WHAT IS THIS This map was created with a digital elevation model (DEM) based on data from the Lunar Orbiter Laser Altimeter, an instrument on the National Aeronautics & Space Agency (NASA) Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) spacecraft. The map shows the South Pole-Aitken basin, some craters & the Mare Orientale. This is a relief map of the Moon created with that data, showing the relief of Satellite in a vintage & contemporary way.
