The Claddagh motif design is taken from the traditional Claddagh ring (Irish: finne Chladaigh) a traditional Irish ring which represents love, loyalty, & friendship (the hands represent friendship, the heart represents love, & the crown represents loyalty). The 6 x 4 Portrait picture frame as a brushed silver effect finish with polished edges the motif is made from polished pewter the back of the frame is covered with black felt, with a leg that can be folded out to enable the frame to be free standing. We cast the motif in pewter then hand polish before fixing it to the frame. Please note we also have this item available on Etsy in landscape. The outer dimensions of the frame are 124mm x 174mm the inner dimensions are 90mm x 140mm the picture frame is designed to take a 6 inch x 4 inch Photograph. Comes carefully packaged.
