Divan Japonais, one of the numerous caf-concerts in Paris during the late 1800s, was a favorite haunt of Toulouse-Lautrec. The poster he created to promote the venue showcases two prominent Montmartre performers he admired - Yvette Guilbert & Jane Avril. in this depiction, Avril is an observer rather than an entertainer, as she sits up front with douard Dujardin, a writer & a regular at the nightclubs, known for his dandy style. in the top left corner of the poster, you can see the headless figure of Guilbert on stage, her identity distinguished by her signature long black gloves & lean body shape. - 175 gsm fine art paper - Matte finish - Multiple sizes - For indoor use - Due to the production process of these posters, please allow for slight size deviations.
