Lovely pair of square vintage-style, 100% cotton pillowcases from Anthropologie New York. The gorgeous floral pattern features large blowsy mauvy-purple chrysanthemums with green foliage on a creamy buttermilk coloured background. They would look beautiful layered on a bed with other large pillows or cushions. I bought these as part of a king size bedding set. I used the duvet cover & regular pillowcases but these square ones, also known as Euro shams, were never used as I didn't get round to buying the right size. They take a pillow or cushion that is 26 x 26 inches or approx 65 x 65 cms. I had pictured them layered with antique lace pillows & shabby chic pastel velvets & florals. I am aware they are not true vintage, however they sit very well with this style. They have been in the linen cupboard since I bought them & still have the slightly crisp feel of new bedlinen. Please note - they will require a light laundering & ironing before use. They each measure approx 72cms x 72 cms... this is made up of the central pillow square of approx 64 cms plus a deep frill of 8 cms. Price is for the pair, not each!
