A charming American vintage hooked cotton rug dating from around the 1920s-1930s! I absolutely adore the rooster! This is an alphabet hooked rug, I'm sure intended to be used in a child's room. The primitive characters are super sweet! This rug is hooked on a heavy cotton canvas - so charming! MEASUREMENTS approximately 46 inches by 23 inches CONDITION : This piece is in as found, not freshly laundered condition ~ light fading & unwashed! This textile can be hand washed but expect the water to get dirty! It appears to have been laundered in the past, & there was a slight dye run so there is a some pink cast in a few places. There are a few marks that may not fully wash; please use the zoom feature on the photos to see more details. There is no thread loss & this piece is generally in good condition, other than being slightly faded & needing a wash.
