Welcome to The Textile Trunk ~ please follow us on Instagram! ~ We are @textiletrunk A wonderful find!~ This roll of wallpaper is French & dates from the very early 20th century, right around 1900. The pattern is glorious! It was all hand blocked on a heavy paper, a sturdy, thick paper base, very unusual for this time period as the papers were usually much thinner!~ ( I have a matching pattern bolt in blue, to view please search my store for wallpaper & it will appear as well as others! ) The colors are : red background, black , white muted gold, gold & blue ~ Each color was a different hand carved wooden block ~ what a treasure! Today these papers can be used for so many decorative projects , time to get creative! Gorgeous for using as wallpaper, framing, stationary ETC~ MEASUREMENTS : I'm selling this roll per half, so each purchase is for a length measuring approximately 5.3 yards long by 22.5 inches wide. If you would like to purchase the full long bolt, simply add it to your cart & change the quantity to 2 & you will receive one long roll of approximately 10.8 yards long CONDITION : This antique French wallpaper is in lovely unused condition. There are some stains on the back side of the paper, the first few inches has some tears in the paper ( & perhaps the last few inches) It has signs of time, but is generally in wonderful condition for its age !
