Warm, relaxed, breathable wool blanket 48" x 48", ideal for a romantic picnic for two. Handwoven in Devon from the same 100% virgin British wool that's used in Harris Tweed - their colours are stunningly rainbow-flecked on close inspection, & earthy overall. This blanket has irregular width bands of duckegg, teal, subtle purple, ochre & iron-red, with greens & rusts showing through. All wool will soften with washing & wear. Unless you wish to felt or shrink your blanket, I recommend handwashing only, in cool water, with minimal agitation. Ecover Delicate Wash, or similar, will give a clean, unperfumed, soapy smell that preserves the integrity of the wool. Please note, in case of allergy, that my items come from a home with a dog, but will smell fresh. Because I live in a van with my loom, touring the Celtic lands, bear with me if your parcel is posted from an outer isle, Brittany or Ireland & is at all slow to arrive - I'll let you know.
