They also have the character that comes from using aged timber for a contemporary yet timeless look. Tables come in 3 plank widths as standard (66cm) & are 45cm in height. Get in touch if you would like a narrower or wider table. Created to look like an authentic antique farmhouse piece of furniture, our tables have spoonfuls of character yet are super functional, durable & of course beautiful. The bases are painted in several coats of Farrow & Ball eggshell to give a smooth colour finish that is easily cleaned & hard wearing. We have 12 standard Farrow & Ball colours available. Other brands or colours available for an additional charge. F&B Colours (from left to right in listing photo): Wevet, Pointing, Elephants Breath, Pavillion Gray, Blue Gray, Oval Room Blue, Inchyra Blue, Hague Blue, Manor House Gray, Plummett, Downpipe & Railings. Our tables have a natural rustic look with all the characteristics that come from aged wood including minor dents, scratches, natural blemishes, knots & splits. They are smooth to the touch & are ready for every day use with a wax finish for durability. Most deliveries are a two person service. While the bases are made from 'new' wood our reclaimed tops are what makes them rustic. You'll find a variety of features which vary from table to table. These may be from their previous life or simply the natural grain & pattern in the wood. We enhance these features & will never send out a table we wouldn't want ourselves. They are 'imperfectly perfect' & that's the way we like them! Reclaimed wood is not for everyone. It is full of character which of course makes it unique but it is very different to high street furniture that is made to be uniform. Reclaimed wood comes with dents, scratches, minor splits, missing knots, uneven surfaces & signs of old nails or staples. The timber comes from old buildings such as flooring, joists or fixtures. We'll always select planks that work well together to ensure a beautiful overall look. Handmade items are exactly that, handmade. You won't find factory grade precision in our work but you will find uniqueness, attention to detail & of course heaps of character!
