A quirky & attractive little stoneware vase most likely by Hans Schirmer for Achatit Werkstatten, Cologne, Germany. This flagon-style tv-shaped vase is rectangular in format with an oatmeal glaze. There is a relief motif which is picked out in a blue black line. The image depicts a calling rooster within a line frame. The vase has a small handle on one shoulder with a circular central aperture on the top surface. The vase stands at 100mm tall & is 120mm in length. It is 45mm wide. The vase is in very good vintage condition. It has one tiny area of glaze loss on the motif on one side of the vase. This shows as blue & can be seen in image 2. Priced accordingly.
