REDUCED ON 12/25/2023 FROM $165.00 TO $150.00This is a rare, vintage (age unknown), NON-WORKING, hand-painted, Italian, Majolica pottery, Della Robbia table-lamp. It is signed on the bottom Made in Italy & measures 4.25 inches in diameter by 12 inches in height to the top of the socket & 8.25 inches in height to the top of the pedestal. I believe this was originally a candle holder which someone much later turned into a table-lamp. This lamp as with all other Della Robbia pottery is fruit themed with clusters of oranges, apples, pears & grapes. Overall I would say the condition is very good, but there are some, weeny chips on the base which could be touched up with magic marker & a worn area to one of the fruit, garland festoons. I also noticed while taking photos perhaps a chip that was glued in place after drilling the hole for the wiring. (All shown in the last photos). Remember this is a NON-WORKING table-lamp which needs new electrical wiring. Della Robbia majolica pottery is an ever-classic design which never disappoints.
