Description
This gorgeous pair of vintage painted brass cameos depicts two women in profile with fancy updo hairstyles (possibly modelled after Grace Kelly, Princess de Monaco). They are lightweight brass, embossed from the back so the silhouettes are three dimensional. They look to be hand painted; the background is a beautiful, matte, soft sage green, & the silhouettes are a glossy off-white. There are tabs on the back of each one to hang them on a wall, & they are stamped Made in England. They are in very good vintage condition with a few small marks on the rims & on the white paint (these are more noticeable in the photos than they are in real life). One has a slightly flat area on the rim, but it doesn't show when hanging.
