Are you looking for something extra special to drink your morning tea from? A lot of care & attention goes into making these rustic tea mugs. Each one is made to order & starts life on the potters wheel. An iron rich stoneware clay is used to throw the mugs which have exaggerated throwing lines. To make drinking from them really enjoyable they are topped with a slight lip. They are glazed inside & then the outside dipped at an angle to show of the bare clay at the base. My handmade mugs are fired in a gas reduction kiln which reduces the iron particles in the clay to create the speckles in the glaze. This is my favourite sized mug for a one bag cup of tea although I know everyone has their own preference. These mugs also fit nicely under my Nespresso machine when I fancy a coffee. Packaging is 100% compostable / recyclable - even the tape & labels. in the unlikely event your order arrives damaged let me know straight away with a photo - I will happily replace it.
