Rare find! This fancy serving bowl is by Noritake of Japan in their ornate Dresolin pattern, which was produced in the 1930s. The soft off-white base is beautifully painted with sprigs of flowers & lavishly edged & accented with gold. The central part of the bowl opens up with 12 petals that make up the outer edge. Measuring from tip to tip of the petals, the bowl is 11 across; it is 2 3/8 deep. I can find no damage to this piece; it was carefully stored away when I found it & I doubt it was used. The mark on the bottom says: Noritake China Japan, Dresolin, U.S. Design Pat. Applied For. Please look closely at the photos & convo me with questions.
