Excellent original vintage condition Brand: Archie Shine Country of Manufacture: United Kingdom Year of Manufacture: 1960 Designer: Robert Heritage Featured Refinements: Vintage Desk Length: 137 cm Height: 73 cm Original/Reproduction: Original Number of Drawers: 3 Depth: 45.5 cm Mid Century Vintage Robert Heritage for Archie Shine Desk Console Dressing Table. A multi functional piece of furniture originally designed as a Dressing Table but perfect as a desk or console with 3 spacious drawers that have the original small brass peg handle pulls. Drawers are dovetailed & run nicely as one would expect. Expertly crafted reeded drawer fronts which are a feature of the Hamilton Range. Elegant & slender frame which is sturdy & has no wobbles breaks or repairs. The mirror is in perfect condition & slots easily onto the frame with original fixings. The brackets are easily removed & are fixed to the back of the console with screws. With appropriate fixings the mirror could be wall mounted if not used with the Console. Thoroughly cleaned the item has been lightly polished ready for use. Excellent vintage condition although there are two chips to the veneer on the top on the right edge as shown. They are not offensive & having regard to the fact that items will be placed on top when in use & it will be viewed from the front they will not be noticed. For the perfectionist they could easily be filled. There is also a small superficial mark to the left side of the console as shown but it is minor & once in situ will not be noticed unless on close inspection. This is a lovely piece of furniture that would sit perfectly in any home.
