This colourful textile wall art will brighten any room. It has been made by hand-felting a variety of hand-dyed silks to merino wool. The image, a contemplative, reclining pose, was "painted" from a life model. This wall hanging has been free-motion embroidered, giving a textured surface that complements the nunofelt textures & 3-dimensional padding on the arm. It has been stretched over a 2 cm (0.8 inch) deep wooden frame with a wire across the back so it is ready to hang. The design continues around the sides of the frame as can be seen in the second & third pictures. Approximate dimensions: 84.5 cm (33.2") wide x 62 cm (24.5") high x 2.5 cm (1") deep Care of your felt hanging - occasionally turn it face down & tap the back of the frame to remove dust, the face may be wiped with a damp cloth if needed.
