A very nice example of an original Mid Century Chest of drawers from the English brand of Jentique. This is the very rare metamorphic drawers which have incorporated a pull out bureau storage. A clever design with a wonderfully smooth mechanism. The top merely slides forward (creating a desk/writing surface) allowing the concealed bureau section to automatically pop up at the back of the unit. This unit has the iconic eyelet set in handles & very good level of craftsmanship. The drawers are set upon solid wood legs. This would make a stunning addition to anyone's home or small office area. Our best prices are on the TeakyFinders website. The drawers are in clean condition. The drawers have been rubbed back & refinished in a shellac French polish. This give a nice shine to the original Jentique teak veneer. The item is in very good order with very clean top & sides. There are some small marks to drawer fronts which are shown in the pictures.
