These rustic table tops are handmade in our Peak District workshop from reclaimed wood, which we ethically source from our local area. To make these chunky table tops we use 5cm think, solid, reclaimed pine; which we join with biscuits, glue & sand till smooth. We also attach battens underneath the table tops to give them extra shape, ensuring they maintain their shape over time. (we can move the battens around, if you feel the base might get in the way) Reclaimed wood has its own unique features & may contain some colouring in the timber,knots,minor twists,dents but doesnt effect the structure & also means no table top will be the same, allowing you to have that something special, brightening up your home. We also router a nice round edge on the top & bottom so there are no sharp edges Sizes vary from 40 cm - 120 cm These items are made to order, so we can make them to any size. We treat these table tops in a variety of waxes & oils, which help the grain the stand out, creating beautiful pieces of bespoke furniture. If you plan to use the table tops outside, we recommend that you select an oil finish, because they protect it better than the wax finish. To clean Only wipe these tops down with a damp cloth do not spray any chemicals as it will discolour & with it being a natural product we advise not putting directly next to a heat source for example radiators as it may warp the timber Always use cup & place mats as it will leave ring marks on your new top FREE DELIVERY 1-2 week lead time We provide lots of different table tops & other furniture, so if you have any questions, send us a message & we will be happy to help.
