A magical square print of one of my original watercolour paintings depicting magical Hare in a hedgerow underneath the full moon. This image has been lovingly created from plant materials collected from the garden of the great naturalist Gilbert White. His home & garden have been preserved as a museum in the undulating landscape of the Hampshire countryside. Through a magical alchemical process, they were boiled in my cauldron for 24 hours before revealing the stories of their land. As an artist I then pick out the tale the plants wish to tell with natural pigments & mineral paints.You can make out the imprints of many of the plant materials. The original painting has then been scanned & printed. This image is professionally printed on 300gsm Smooth White Heavy weight paper using a high quality process, which provides both excellent colour rendition & retains the original texture of the painting. The size of the image is 21cm square, printed edge-to-edge, with no border & ready to frame. All my work is sustainably packaged carefully with the environment in mind. As with all prints it is always best to keep them out of sunlight to reduce the risk of fading.
