This wonderful set of 2 vintage brown English transferware bowls have a detailed depiction of an English countryside with a wonderful broken down ancient castle looming over the countryside. The centre area has two figures in the foreground & a ancient British castle & cloud filled sky. Every detail on these vintage transferware soup or salad bowls helps to take us on a little journey, into a world that is quiet & simple. The border of these vintage English red & white bowls is a cornicopia of decorative scrolls, flowers, leaves & patterning. Each bowl has a chip on the underneath the rim area & the price has been reduced already. Both can be securely packed & ready to ship in 1-2 days.
