1.6kg Woodland print/aqua blue fleece weighted blanket. (other weights available) 95cm x 70cm Approx. Machine washable 30, Line dry. Each blanket is separated into a grid of individually filled pockets ensuring weight is distributed evenly. Weighted Therapy can benefit those who : -Have difficulty unwinding, relaxing & sleeping - Have a short attention span & are easily distracted - Show tactile sensitivity - ie a need to touch everything or are resistant to touch - Have a poor awareness of their body or body position display self stimulatory behaviour such as rocking, twirling & chewing. - Have Anxiety. There is no definite rule on what size blanket should be used, but it is suggested that it should be around 10% of the user's body weight. Please ensure you purchase a suitable weight for your child. The most important thing to remember is that the user should be able to easily push it off themselves if needed. Adult supervision recommended.
