Modern set of 2 coasters. A lovely example of functional art. Inspired by a desire to have less fiber waste, these coasters are created by layering small pieces of fabric on top of a piece of batting & then hand quilting on top to secure all layers. Edges are raw & will have some fraying, but will not fall apart. The fraying will add to the texture & beauty of the fabric. I have been using coasters created in this manner for over a year & they are still beautiful & functional with very little change. Fantastic to have around the house for cups, bottles, or mugs!
