SO do this first My husband loves art with the galaxy & stars, so I painted this abstract celestial design for him for his birthday. I think this would make a great comforter or quilt cover for your star-gazing boy or girl, or for your space themed bedroom. There are dark blues, white & purple in this art, & you can see the texture of the watercolor paper that I painted the original on. If you are less familiar with duvet covers (which are used more often in Europe): Think of it as a large fabric zippered case, similar to a pillowcase, to use with any blanket, quilt or comforter, or it can be used by itself on hot summer days, with no blanket. The advantage of using a duvet cover, is that you can throw in the laundry as regularly as you change your sheets, without having to wash the blanket inside as often.
