Aspen 41, a small but functional coffee mug, is reminiscent of the colors of the aspen trees in Colorado. Rich honeydew green, pure white, dark brown eyes, & golden light that manifest in & around these magical trees are a true testament to the glory of the natural beauty that surrounds us. This truly is a beautiful world we live in, if only we choose to see it. This mug was wheel-thrown by me on September 12, 2023. It dried to bone-dry for approximately 3 weeks before its initial bisque firing on October 3, 2023. Layers of glaze were applied overall, & the bowl was glaze fired to 2380 deg. F in my oxidization kiln on October 6, 2023. A series of food safety tests were then performed before selling to the public. All of my functional pottery is dinnerware & food safe, dishwasher safe, & microwave safe, & it conforms to standards set forth by the Art & Creative Materials Institute AP (Approved Product) in ASTM-D 4236. All glazes used are certified lead-free. This listing is for one (1) stoneware mug with the dimensions below. Product dimensions: 3.25H x 4.25W x 10D.
