Another ethereal artwork by artist Kajita Hanko (), a prolific kuchi-e (frontispiece art) artist with unique & fresh style. There's a noticeable difference between this example of the shin-hanga style & more traditional ukiyo-e artworks. The style is more realistic compared with stylised depictions of beauty in the classic art. Furthermore, the process of colouring also went through changes, with the artist often producing a watercolour masterwork from which the specific printing blocks would be derived - as opposed to the old times, when ukiyo-e master would produce a line drawing & colours would be decided afterwards.
