Description
This is a handmade piece of art from start to finish & so each one is unique. This stoneware mug holds around 10 fl oz & is a mini autumnal landscape. The finished effect has been created through a lot of trial & error with the design, & a lot of testing & retesting of the glazes I use. It's been a long process but I love the final effect! The mug is made on the potters wheel & stamped with a heilan' coo which I carved. The handle is hand pulled & attached to the mug once it's still damp but dry enough to touch. The rim is pushed out of shape as I like the more rustic look. The coo is carefully hand painted & the mug is dipped into various glazes to give the moody Scottish landscape you see. I like to leave flash of bare clay as this forms part of the landscape & gives the mug a very tactile feel. Approx Dimensions: Height 8.5cm Width 9cm Microwave & dishwasher safe.
