Not just a coaster but an expertly handcrafted photo transfer on white marble coaster. Unique in every way. To be used as a piece of art for your table. Best given to someone who loves to receive something special & meaningful. Best to receive as a housewarming gift, wedding gift, going away gift, birthday, holiday & just because gift. After many years making coasters, in 2023, I began using an 'Italian' Carrara Marble that's smoother & shows off the photograph better. I changed my process of transfer by using a polymer that I apply & bake onto the marble. Heat is then used to transfer my photograph onto the tile. The new process creates a more even & smooth final product. My last step is to brush on a protective coating & add cork to the back. Each coaster is one of a kind due to the grain of the marble becoming part of the final image. The coaster can be used with very hot coffee cups & a cold Chardonnay.
