Ambrosia Maple bowl. Made from a hard maple tree branch that was struck by lightning on our land. The tree is 175+ years old; it might've been a sampling when George Washington drank at our tavern. The bowl is hand turned & finished with natural oils. Entirely suitable for serving wood or displaying. An excellent & unique gift. I do my woodworking in our 18th century stone tavern with century-old family tools in my shop in the Hudson Valley. The wood comes from sustainably grown, old-growth trees.
