A pure wool blanket personalised with a leather patch engraved with your words written in your handwriting which is then sewn on the blanket. This lovely, functional gift will become a treasured family heirloom over the years as you build memories from cosy days & nights snuggled under the warm wool. Adding your message in your handwriting, or a small drawing makes these throws extra special gifts. It would make a lovely Mother's Day or Father's Day gift engraved with a message written by your child. Adding your handwriting or even the handwriting of someone who has passed makes this a unique one of a kind gift. To submit your message send us over an image (jpeg is ideal) after ordering. The best way to do it is to write in black pen on white, write clearly then take a photo directly over it or in front of it to prevent distortion. The photo should be clear without blurring in good light. Two patch styles are available - plain or in a heart border. Gift wrap is available; a canvas gift bag, tissue paper, ribbon & gift tag. The gift wrap image is indicative of what you will receive but we reserve the right to amend our gift wrap option in terms of colour & print due to stock availability. in this instance an alternative item of equivalent quality will be sent out. The throws are woven in Wales, then we engrave & sew on the leather patches here in our Cambridgeshire studio. dimensions: The leather patches are 9 x 11cm (3.5 x 4.25 inches). We will request personalisations if not received when the order is placed from the customer by Etsy messaging. If after messaging we do not hear back from the customer we will assume the throw is to be sent without a patch & send it directly not earlier than the advised dispatch date.
