A handmade Beautiful fine decorative William Morris paper in beige, & pastel colours, which I incorporated it with dark chocolate brown colour for the background. When I work on my trays I always treat the indentations on the wood & make it perfect before I begin my work. It is so important to me that the trays leave my studio near to perfection but as you know as it's handmade, it would never be 100% perfect like it was cut & made by a machine or a robot. This tray is suitable for day & night but certainly any event, serving champagne, wine or cocktails. The choice is yours. Or a special occasion with a pot of tea & a special plate full of cakes & sweets. It will certainly impress whoever you're serving. Please note that all my trays are made of solid wood. It can withstand any weight. The tray is decoupaged but of course varnished over 3-4 times, so that no colour runs on your bedding or sofas or the kitchen counter. You can rest assured that nothing will ruin this tray unless you wash it or soak it but you can certainly use a damp cloth or a wipe to disinfect it & clean it but please be gentle.
