The result is a strong & supple , attractive tag collar. Finished with 316 grade polished stainless steel end caps with a split ring attached for your dogs name & address tag. The 6mm diameter collar is worn loosely round the dogs neck & is a slip over collar. There is no clasp to accidentally come undone. It is intended to be worn at home as a house collar but it can be worn outdoors with the regular collar providing you do not attach a lead to the tag collar as it is not meant to take the strain. Most dogs are chipped these days but if your dog should stray it is much easier for someone to read his tag & contact you, rather than taking him to the vet to get the chip read...so it is 'belt & braces' to keep your dog safe! When you measure your dog for his/her house collar , please measure mid neck accurately then add a little so that it will slip over your dog's head & hang naturally. We suggest a 2 inch add on to the mid neck size unless your dog has a particularly large head in which case , with a soft measuring tape take a measurement at the widest part of the head around the outside of the ears ...This measurement...mid neck size plus the extra is the size you must order...and this is the size you will be sent! - The size INCLUDES the split ring. - For a size not in the list just order 'Custom Size' & 'message seller' with your preferred measurement.
