I have no way to test these bulbs so I'm not sure if they work or not, though the filaments are not broken (look at them back lit). The color on them is quite amazing for these bulbs. They are rare to begin with, & even more so when they still have vivid color like these. I believe these may be the Japanese versions since they have no color loss. If the color was painted on they would surely be color loss after a hundred years.
