Length: 56 Centimetres; Width: 31 Centimetres. This is a handmade item from a deconstructed vintage silk obi, & as such, is unique. This silk cushion cover has been created from silk brocade fabric which has been woven & lacquered with gold on a dusky blue background The The style of the design is reminiscent of ancient Egyptian designs with a stylised bird & symbols in gold on a blue background woven in the style of a stone wall. The backing fabric is a plain blue silk which matches the main fabric. The cushion cover has been lined with silk fabric to protect the back of the brocade & a zip fastener as been added down one side to enable the cover to be removed for cleaning.
