Length: 89 Centimetres; Width: 30.5 Centimetres This is a hand made cushion cover from a deconstructed vintage silk obi, & as such, it is unique. The silk brocade fabric has been lacquered in shades of green, gold & bronze on a green background giving a glowing mottled effect The design is of woven & embroiderd on roundels with flowers, grasses & leaves in each. Two of the roundels have been filled with solid gold background & coloured flowers & leaves. The others have the flowers, leaves & grasses embroidered in gold on green backgrounds The cushion cover has been lined with silk to protect the back of the design. A zip fastener has been added for ease of removing the cover when necessary. The backing fabric is a plain glossy silk fabric in a dark green colour to match the front. This is a very long cushion cover - excellent as a bolster. It is not recommended that this cushion cover is washed. Silk Cushion Cover From Up-Cycled Vintage Obi
