A rather lovely vintage Dutch copper & brass upright coal scuttle with two Delft-style porcelain & brass handles. It has a brass moveable handle on the top with a blue & white Delft porcelain handle, lions faces on the brass side fixtures, & a fixed blue & white porcelain handle at the back & a brass base. It would make a great indoor planter or log/kindling basket. It measures: 47cm high at the front; 30cm high at back; 52cm to top of the moveable brass handle when handle is upright; & is 23.5cm x 18cm wide. There are some age-related dents, some scratches, marks & patina (please see images & zoom) but overall, it is in good condition. Please note that all our products are up-cycled & pre-loved so expect some perfect imperfections!
