String comes attached to a 7 wood dowel rod & hangs approximately 3 above the banner. The string is easily removable. If you'd like a longer length, please make a note in the notes to seller box during checkout & I will include an additional custom length string free of charge. Due to the handmade nature of this banner, please allow for small variations. CARE INSTRUCTIONS Machine washing is not recommended. For best results, spot clean only. If you need to iron your banner, place a piece of parchment paper over the lettering & iron the entire banner on medium-high heat. Banner is not a toy & should be kept out of reach of children.
